How it works

From your numbers to a market reference you can check line by line

No black box and no spreadsheet to reverse-engineer. Every figure traces back to the deals and disclosures behind it.

01

Set up your business

Name, industry, where you operate and how much you own. Two minutes, private to your account.

02

Add your numbers — quickly or fully

Quick entry takes one current snapshot: revenue, EBITDA (adjusted where that applies) and the date it reflects. Full history takes years or quarters, entered or uploaded — the original file is kept and you see exactly what was read from it before anything is accepted.

03

Ownsera compares it against real disclosed transactions

Acquisitions are read from public company filings and their attached press releases, held with the exact sentence behind every figure, and duplicate reports of the same deal merged into one record. Where a figure was never disclosed, it stays undisclosed.

04

Track the range as your business and the market move

Each point in your history uses only the evidence that was public at that date, so the past is never rewritten. Where a period has no defensible basis, you get a gap and an explanation — never an invented number.

Every figure keeps the sentence it came from

A filing, the press release attached to it, and the individual facts read out of both.

No EBITDA figure is stated for the target. Nothing is estimated in its place.

Why a deal counted — factor by factor

Each comparable transaction carries a relevance score from 0 to 100, broken out rather than asserted.

Two ways to start

Start light. Go deeper whenever you want.

Moving from a quick snapshot to full history keeps everything you already entered. You never start again.

Quick entry

One current period, a few minutes. You get today's illustrative market reference with its as-of date and the method behind it.

Full history

Multiple periods, entered or uploaded. You get tracking over time — annual or quarterly where your own figures support it — and a clear read on what moved: your trading performance, or the market.
