Acceptable Use and Content Protection Policy
1. Purpose and permitted access
Effective date: for each account, the date the account is created and this agreement is accepted (published October 4, 2026). This Policy forms part of the Terms of Use. It protects customers, research sources, Ownsera, and the reliability of the Service. Use the Service only through access and features authorized for your account, organization, businesses, and plan. Ordinary lawful review and internal analysis within your license are permitted.
2. Prohibited extraction and redistribution
You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk download, systematically query, or reconstruct protected Ownsera content, its transaction universe, confidential methods, or nonpublic datasets without a separate written license. Do not use repeated small requests, multiple accounts, distributed workers, browser automation, screenshots at scale, or another person to evade an export limit. Automated access through an expressly licensed API is permitted only within its scope and limits.
Do not sell, rent, sublicense, publish, syndicate, white-label, or redistribute the Service, raw transaction records, model parameters, source collections, or another customer's information. Do not post proprietary content to public repositories, public chatbots, shared data rooms, social media, or a searchable knowledge base except where a specific report-sharing permission allows the particular disclosure. A report license does not grant a dataset license.
Do not use protected Ownsera content to train, fine-tune, evaluate at scale, distill, populate a retrieval system for, or otherwise develop a competing or shared AI model, data product, or valuation database without written permission. This restriction does not claim rights in independently collected public facts, restrict lawful independent development, or override a right applicable law makes nonwaivable.
3. Integrity security and lawful conduct
Do not bypass authentication, payment, beta expiration, business limits, role permissions, rate limits, or other access controls; share credentials; impersonate another person; obtain unauthorized access; introduce malware; exploit vulnerabilities outside authorized testing; or interfere with another user's service. Do not attempt to recover confidential source code or model details by reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembly except where applicable law or an applicable open-source license expressly permits it.
Do not upload unlawful, infringing, stolen, malicious, or materially misleading content. Do not fabricate financial records, provenance, transaction evidence, certifications, identities, or permissions; manipulate a report to conceal assumptions; remove attribution or warning notices; or represent a generated result as an independent professional certification. Do not use the Service for fraud, unlawful securities activity, unlawful discrimination, or prohibited transactions.
The Service is not offered for deciding an individual's employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated eligibility, or for obtaining consumer reports. Do not use it for those purposes without a separate written agreement and the legally required review and safeguards. Aggregate business analysis does not authorize processing patient, employee, or consumer-level records unnecessary for that analysis.
4. Research complaints and enforcement
Report suspected misuse or rights concerns through /legal/contact or ops@ownseraiq.com, providing enough detail to identify the issue without disclosing unnecessary confidential records. We may preserve relevant evidence, limit affected access, investigate proportionately, and use contractual or legal remedies. We do not impose a fixed penalty per scraped row or presume an automatic damages amount; remedies depend on the agreement, evidence, and law.
Good-faith security reports under our Responsible Disclosure Policy, lawful reviews, independent verification of public facts, legally protected reverse engineering, reporting to regulators, and other protected activities remain permitted. No provision authorizes harassment, retaliation, obstruction of lawful reporting, or suppression of honest criticism. The protected-disclosure provision in the Terms applies throughout this Policy.
