Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

1. Purpose and contact

Effective for each account, the date the account is created and this agreement is accepted (published October 4, 2026). Ownsera and its stakeholders, doing business as Ownsera, receives good-faith reports of copyright infringement and other intellectual property concerns involving the Service at ops@ownseraiq.com. Identify the issue and affected material sufficiently for investigation. An allegation does not establish ownership or infringement; public facts, licensed uses and statutory exceptions remain subject to applicable law.

This policy describes a reporting process. It does not assert that Ownsera has registered a designated DMCA agent or qualifies for a statutory safe harbor.

2. Copyright complaint information

A copyright owner or authorized representative should provide: an electronic or physical signature; identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed, or a representative list for multiple works at one online location; identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it, such as a precise URL, report identifier and relevant passage; the complainant's name, mailing address, telephone number and email address; a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or law; and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complainant is authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

Explain the ownership basis and consider licenses, public-domain status and applicable exceptions before submitting. Deliberate material misrepresentations in statutory notices or counter-notices may create liability under applicable law. For trademark or other rights, identify the right, territory, registration if relevant, affected material and alleged violation.

3. Review and response

Ownsera may request clarification, preserve necessary evidence, restrict disputed material and contact the uploader or relevant rights holder. Where the law requires action on a compliant notice, Ownsera will follow that requirement. Repeat infringers may have access terminated in appropriate circumstances under a reasonably implemented policy; other misuse is addressed under the Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.

Ownsera does not decide complex ownership disputes conclusively. Providing a report does not authorize access to another user's private workspace or financial information.

4. Handling of submitted information

Complaint and counter-notice information may be shared with the affected uploader, complainant, counsel, service providers or authorities as reasonably necessary or legally required. It is not posted publicly as a routine practice. Submit only necessary information; do not include passwords, payment credentials or unrelated confidential financial records. The Privacy Policy governs applicable personal-information handling.
